Jaisalmer

The Golden City

Unlike any other city, this desert fortress is one of Rajasthan’s most exotic and unusual towns. Jaisalmer, an important ancient trading because of its strategic location on the camel trade routes, is often described as the ‘golden city’.

A desert city, it was founded by the Bhatti Rajput chieftain Rawal Jaisal in the year 1156. Jaisalmer could be regarded as the western sentinel of entire India and a place worth visiting to get an idea of the native Rajasthan.

The city
Desert Nation Park

Desert Nation Park is the largest national park and a very good example of eco system. The park is god collections of Fossil which are very old and some of are 180 million years.

Vyas Chhatri

Not new but first time to see many cenatophes together. In Bollywood movies we have seen these Cenatophes 100 times. It looks pretty.

This is very nice museum.I love this place. This show as how brave our solders are who scarifies there life of our country. Slute to them.

Jaisalmer Fort

Jaisalmer Fort was one of my favourite ones on our recent trip to India. This Fort is actually situated on top of a sandhill with great views over Jaisalmer. It has been well.

Tanot Mata Temple

This is my one of the most loved locations in rajasthan. This temple is different from other temples or say more than temple .The border security force(BSF)looks after this temple.

Jain Temples

This Jain Temple was one of my favourite on our recent trip to India. The Temple is located inside the Golden Fort in Jaisalmer and it's quint with many things to look at, especially the architecture.

Patwaon-Ki-Haveli

The 5 havelis are beautiful buildings of which you can visit 2. From the outside as well as from the inside it is worth spending some rupees for the visit. The rooftop allows a nice view over the city and the fort.

Bada Bagh

It's better to visit with a guide so that you may learn some history about the cenotaphs and who is buried here. Busy at sunset.

Gadsisar Sagar Lake

We went in the Hot month of June which resulted in the Lake not being crowded at all so we could enjoy the Boat ride with some nice background and monuments around. The Birds in the center of the lake added to the beauty. Must visit for its peaceful atmosphere.
